Invoices will be sent prior to the workshop.
CANCELLATIONS: Due to the popularity of the workshops we require at least 3 working days notice of any cancellations or the full fee will be incurred. If you are unable to attend, a substitute can be sent in your place if appropriate.
Aim of the workshop:
- To assist RNs/ENs to obtain the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills required to manage subcutaneous infusions in their own practice settings.
To attain certification each nurse is required to:
- Complete a pre-reading workbook before attending the workshop.
- Attend workshop with opportunity to become familiar with Niki T34
- Complete a written test obtaining 80% minimum in the written component and 100% in the drug calculations.
Pre-reading workbooks are sent out when you register.
Following successful completion of the workshop a Certificate of Attainment will be issued.
To maintain certification:
Nurses who have completed the full Hospice NZ Syringe Driver Competency workshop within the last two years may attend an annual update to maintain certification. When registering please supply date of full workshop attended.
