This is a two session workshop where you use materials to create a visual biography, a board depicting memories of special times in your life.
You don’t need any artistic skills, it’s all about you, your story, your journey and the “A-ha!” moments along the way.
We invite you to bring a helper (partner, grandchild, friend) or if this is not possible, we can arrange a volunteer to help you. Your helper acts as scribe, recording your spoken thoughts as you create. When it is done, the board and script of your story will be yours to take home and share with family and friends.
The next sessions are on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 August, from 9.30 am – 11.30 am.
Plan to come to both days and if a two hour session is too long, talk to Fiona as sessions can be flexible to accommodate your needs.
It is held at Waipuna Hospice, in the Day Services Wing and costs just $15 for the canvas board. Morning tea is provided. We can also offer transport, just let us know when confirming your place.
