Want to do good for the community? Volunteer at one of our Hospice Awareness Week Sites!

We are looking for interested volunteer helpers – from individuals to clubs, teams, and/or workmates – to man one of our Hospice Awareness Week (HAWK) sites. If you have a few hours to spare and would like to spend them doing something rewarding, we invite you to sign up to help us collect donations.

As a volunteer, you will be a friendly face helping someone make a donation – simple!

We are looking for friendly, positive people to help in several different locations.

Bring along a friend or family member and spend some time together giving back to your community!

We’re looking for Volunteer Site Coordinators

Are you organised and enthusiastic?

Could you help to manage volunteers in your area?

Do you have your own transport?

If so, please consider becoming a Site Coordinator! This exciting volunteer role is a great way to give back to the community, meet people, and gain new skills. The role includes coordination of the location and scheduling and supervising other volunteers. It’s fun and rewarding, and directly supports the work of Waipuna Hospice, helping to raise much-needed funds.

Register your interest by emailing events@waipunahospice.org.nz

We have now filled all of our volunteer slots for our 2023 HAWK street appeal. Thank you so much to everyone who is volunteering, we couldn’t do it without you.
