Back by popular demand the 2019 New Zealand Home Diary is A5, hard covered, full colour with a ribbon marker. The diary section has a double page per week and features a new recipe for each week, with an accompanying photograph. The recipes are new every year and are short and easy to follow. They include gluten free and Low GI sugar recipes.

This diary has been published annually for 29 years. It starts with a page for important phone numbers, followed by 4 pages for contact details for family and friends, then all the standard diary information: calendars for the previous year, current year and next year, NZ public holidays, school terms, moon phases, sunrise and sunset times, and daylight saving dates. There are 3 feature stories: Attracting Birds to Your Garden and Doing Your Bit to Reduce Plastic Use by Brian O’Flaherty, and Royal Favourites – baking inspired by royalty, by Robyn Martin. At the back is useful home information: a household emergency checklist, first aid and CPR, space for notes and gift ideas, and a year planner and birthdays and anniversaries calendar.

Waipuna Hospice is not funded by the Government, while some of their services are contracted by the District Health Board, they still need to raise $3.7 million in the coming financial year to meet the shortfall in their operating costs. 100% of all funds donated remain in the local community, helping to ensure hospice services are provided at no cost to our patient, families and whānau.

This 2019 Recipe Book and Diary is now on sale at Waipuna Hospice reception, Waipuna Hospice charity shops and online through the Waipuna Hospice website.

Was $18 – now only $5 each and postage is $4.00 anywhere in New Zealand.
