Drum roll please… introducing the 2023 GALA – a black-tie event that’s not to be missed! The ultimate night out filled with luxury, entertainment, and all the glitz and glamour.
Waipuna Hospice is giving you the chance to attend Tauranga’s inaugural charity black-tie ball.
planning your perfect outfit and invite your friends to join the fun. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
The Waipuna Hospice Remembrance Tree Appeal encourages you to leave a message on a Christmas tree in memory of your loved ones. In return, a donation is made which directly helps those in our community facing a life-limiting illness through the work of Waipuna Hospice.
The personal notes are a way for those grieving or missing someone abroad to gain a little comfort during what can often be a challenging festive season, while also helping Waipuna Hospice raise crucial funds.
Remembrance trees will be set up in Farmers stores from November 17th, and community-based remembrance tree sites will start from November 26th. Please donate generously, and leave a loving message for someone you can’t be with this Christmas. Christmas baubles are also available in all Farmers stores for $10. If you can’t visit, please donate here.
100% of donations made in Tauranga and Western Bay of Plenty, including the sales of the Christmas Baubles at local Farmers stores, stay in this region and are given directly to Waipuna Hospice.
Honour your loved ones who have passed away this Christmas by hanging a ‘Shooting Star’ bauble on your tree. The shooting star symbolises our loved one who has died, lighting up our skies with love and warmth. The minis stars represent comfort by others that have gone before them.
The Christmas season is a time family and friends can come together, celebrate and make life-long memories. When we lose a loved one, this can be dampened – a special touch in remembrance can not only make us feel closer but it brings a positive light to those memories.
Gifting a bauble is also the perfect way to show a loved one you will always be with them, even if you’re physically apart.
Get yours today by visiting any local Farmers store. All proceeds from the sales of the baubles in Tauranga Farmers Stores go directly back to Waipuna Hospice.
