Additional Ways You Can Help Waipuna Hospice

Waipuna Hospice relies heavily on donations from the community. While historically, what was the DHB provided some funding, most of our funding comes from donations. If you’d like to help support people in our community requiring specialist palliative care and their families, you can donate through our Regular Givers programme, here.

Often, we are given gifts we don’t necessarily need. Do good by inviting your family and friends to gift a donation for that special occasion and support families in our community facing a terminal illness at the same time, here.

Alternatively, another way you can help us is by volunteering. Donating your time allows us to provide our services to the community for free. There are a number of different ways – collecting donations, working short shifts at one of our six charity shops, or helping in our depot. Your generosity makes the world of difference.
