We bring your attention to the fact that our Te Puna Hospice site has been experiencing telephone contact issues. Firstly, our cell phone reception that has always been poor has now almost ceased to exist. This is affecting our ability to receive cell phone calls via the cell phone network. It appears from our provider there should be a solution to this problem, but significant work is required to ensure the correct solution is used. We are working with urgency with our cell phone provider to find a solution to this issue. We will notify you when this is rectified. We encourage all phone calls to occur via our main phone line (07 552 4380)
Secondly, our internal phone system is new and works via our internal Wi-Fi system. This has demonstrated a low number of occasions when calls have “dropped” or have been missed. Again we are working with urgency with our supplier on this issue and are testing solutions over the coming days. Should you experience the frustration of a dropped call or no answer, please ring our main line reception number (07 552 4380), tell them that the call failed and they will get the staff member you need to call you back.
