Important Covid-19 Notice

Due to a recent Covid-19 outbreak at Waipuna Hospice, we are currently not accepting new patient admissions into our In-patient Unit (IPU). Visitors for existing IPU patients are limited to two at a time and are by arrangement only. All visitors must be symptom-free. Please ring our IPU reception on 07 552 4380 before planning your visit.

Please note that this does not impact our other services. Our community services will continue, including our 24/7 phone line. There will also be no disruptions to our services offered in our Day Services Wing, and all on-site appointments booked will go ahead. If this changes, we will be in contact directly.

We have not made this decision lightly; however, it is our hope that by taking these measures we are stopping any further spread and keeping our patients and their families and whānau safe.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions at all or were planning on visiting us, please call us first on 07 552 4380.
