Wills Month has ended for 2023 – thank you to all those who participated. Please keep an eye out for Wills Month 2024 next year.

Waipuna Hospice’s FREE Will campaign is back! Sign up today and help us change lives.

This September, Waipuna Hospice is offering you the chance to create a basic Will or update an existing Will, for FREE, thanks to the generosity of local legal firms. In return for this free service, we humbly ask you to please leave a gift in your Will for Waipuna Hospice. A gift in your Will costs you nothing now but can make a big difference in the years to come. No matter the size of your gift, you can help provide the care and support those that are dying in our community need in the future.

Get your personal matters in order and change the lives of people in your community this
September with a FREE Will. To redeem this offer, simply:

1. Sign up before 5:00pm on Friday, 22nd September 2023 by clicking here.

2. We’ll send you a Free Will form to complete.

3. Make an appointment with the participating legal firm of your choice during September and take the completed form with you.

It has never been easier to change the lives of people in your community and ensure that Waipuna Hospice is there to care for future generations who may need our help. Every dollar you gift to us will go towards providing in-home nursing support, medical loan equipment, counselling, grief support, and more.

Ellen and John Barrett have seen firsthand the impact Waipuna Hospice has during someone’s end-of-life journey. When Ellen’s Mum was dying, Waipuna Hospice was there to help in whatever way we could. Ellen and John also know how important it is to outline your wishes in your Will, as life doesn’t always go to plan.

“It was a no-brainer to give back to Waipuna Hospice in our Will. Not only because they provided amazing care to my Mum, and grief support for my Dad, but because both John and I are cancer survivors. We know how life can take unexpected turns. We didn’t think twice about leaving a gift in our Will, because we know that one day, they might be caring for someone we know and love. It’s our way of helping.”

Ellen Barrett, Waipuna Hospice Bequest Donor.
