Waipuna Hospice has been providing a range of specialist community palliative care and hospice services for people facing life limiting illnesses. We care for approximately 1000 patients every year, a figure only set to increase in the coming years. Hospices are independent charitable organisations providing care and support at no cost to the people using our services. Whilst there is no cost to the people using hospice services it costs a lot to provide. We need to raise $4.25 million this financial year to meet the shortfall in our operating costs.
