An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Storeperson / Van Driver to join our team for 30 hours per week. This position will work closely with our Operations and Supply Chain Manager and to ensure that our depot runs efficiently.
About Us
Waipuna Hospice is the sole provider of specialist community palliative care in the rapidly growing Western Bay of Plenty and as well as having an established inpatient unit we support a large community team and a number of charity retail stores.
The role
The key tasks of the position include:
- Delivery and collection of Furniture & other large items
- Accepting / declining and sorting of donated goods
- Van maintenance
- Cleaning
- Electrical testing
- Heavy lifting
The hours are 30 hours – from 9.00am to 3:30pm.
Rate $18 – 20 per hour.
About You
As the Storeperson / Van Driver you will be responsible for loading and unloading of retail goods, delivery / collection, sorting and cleaning of goods and electrical testing.
You will have a great sense of humour, be empathetic and be exceptional at building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of people. Ideally you will have had experience working as a Storeperson. You will be physically fit, reliable, punctual and highly organised.
A clean, manual full driver’s licence is a must.
